Product Description
With the Khan 500, KingCamp presents a very spacious 8-person tent that has a very special glamping flair thanks to its classic round teepee shape. Despite its impressive dimensions of 3 meters high and a generous diameter of 5 meters, the Khan 500 is quick to set up and packs up compactly. The reason for this is that the tent has only a single, robust and lightweight aluminum pole due to its teepee shape.
The various construction options offer you maximum flexibility. In particular, the structure without cotton outer walls and only with mesh side walls offers a unique and very comfortable option on hot days that was previously only possible with Khan tents and combines optimized ventilation with protection from insects. Of course, a pleasant interior climate with an excellent supply of fresh air is also guaranteed for all other construction options thanks to the built-in roof ventilation. There are also three windows that bring light into the interior and can be closed with curtains if necessary.
Another special feature are the two chimney outlets with rain covers, which are made of fire-resistant material and allow you to vent either on the side or through the middle of the roof. Multiple organizer pockets and 3 hooks for hanging lantern or gear on the center pole keep the tent tidy.
The extra strong technical cotton with PU coating improves the inner tent climate, is water-repellent, ensures a pleasant feeling of space and offers increased tear resistance. This blended fabric (80% polyester, 20% cotton) is particularly advantageous in humid latitudes. The robust nylon zippers, the curved pegs and the extra strong guy ropes increase both wind stability and longevity. The base made of tarpaulin (510 g/m²), which can be easily attached with a zipper, reliably protects against ground moisture and is easy to clean after use.
